OLIVARI asked Rem Koolhaas, the architect behind such outstanding works as the CCTV headquarters building, 
and his team at OMA to design an innovative handle.
 
They began by deconstructing the main function of the handle. 
Then, they developed parts to functionally integrate the two elements that make up the handle: the "shaft" and the "lever.
By integrating two independent elements, a variety of designs became possible.
 
To emphasize the variable possibilities of the handle and the overturning of preconceived notions, the handle was named "Open".
