This time we will introduce “Chelsea” designed by Jean Nouvel.
It is designed for his condo, 100 11th Avenue, located in Chelsea, a suburb of Manhattan.
 
Just as the condo was designed to capture the reflection of the Hudson River and create a rich landscape,
he wanted the door handles to have something natural about them.
Jean Nouvel wanted the handle to be "soft and pleasing to the touch, made of buttery material" and to "make the handle a kind of mark by using color".
A handle is not just handle but also a part of architecture. The Olivari door handles reflect this philosophy.
